Yavheni de León

(Guatemala |1990)

Yavheni De León manages two lines of work: one investigating the processes linked to aspiration and the second within family memory and tradition. His approach focuses on the relationship between form, context, and time, identifying normalized situations from his personal history to be situated in collective readings. Aspiration is the filter with which he articulates themes such as urbanity, institutional criticism of art, masculinity and fitness, family memory, and identity.
