Verónica Navas González

(Costa Rica |1995)

Verónica Navas González is a multidisciplinary artist who seeks to understand and transform the relationship between the body and identity, reviewing the meanings of the image derived from the colonial heritage. In her artistic processes, she articulates connections between visual language, the mestizo culture of her Brunkajc-Brörán context, and the political senses of her identity to define the colonial wound that runs through her, proposing responses to heal through art.
