Lourdes de la Riva
(Guatemala | 1955)
Lourdes De la Riva studies the relationship between human beings and nature, and their interaction processes ¬–life, death, construction, and trace¬– where everything changes incessantly, and nothing remains. She perceives beauty from that impermanence and transience of the phenomena of existence, in the force of the chaos and the emptiness left, and in the aesthetics of destruction.
